As you may have noticed when you placed your initial order with us online the 500Mbps and 1Gbps packages both carry a £60 installation fee, this is to offset the cost of the higher specification routers.

The reason why we bundle the hAP lite with 100Mbps packages is so we can offer customers an entry into our Full Fibre services without the need of an installation fee. Although it is indeed true that once the cabling has been installed to a property we can change a customers service remotely, a hAP lite router is only capable of handling 100Mbps. 

With that said, we just wanted to take this time to clarify our stance on customer upgrades:

      If a 100Mbps customer wants to upgrade to a higher bandwidth:

If the customer has not been with us for at least 6 months they can opt to purchase an upgraded router from us for £60. This will be invoiced to the customer.

No engineer visit is required as the new router will just need plugging in where the old one was.
